Decent Work: It’s not difficult

Decent Work

It’s needed  |  It’s not difficult  |  It’s happening; join in

There are many ways you can start to champion and implement decent work:

Small changes can make a big difference!

Laura Hanley, the executive director of Community Living Guelph Wellington, is making decent work happen. Her organization saw management and the staff union agree to create more full-time positions by combining part-time jobs where possible. “By increasing our full-time positions, which includes group benefits, we will get closer to our goal for staff to work for one employer; hopefully that is us. Small changes can make a big difference!”

We’re grateful for the financial support of the Atkinson Foundation and Status of Women Canada, which is helping us to explore and build decent work in Ontario’s nonprofit sector.
